Hey there, I'm Laura Arnold!

Cooking has always been in my blood. I grew up with an incredible mother who loved to host. The kitchen was the gathering place of our home. I was obsessed with the Food Network, baking cakes, and founding a baking club in high school. I was even lucky enough to intern with famous food writers Ted and Matt Lee in NYC senior year.

This is when I became hooked on working in food media. From Columbus, Ohio I headed to Davidson College, majoring in biology but kept coming back to cooking. During college summers I interned at Crave Magazine and the Good Housekeeping Test Kitchen.

After these experiences, I was determined to go into food media, so I graduated early and went to the French Culinary Institute in NYC. It was the best six months of my life.

I’ll never forget when I thought olive oil should go in a cake in the third grade… Little did I know I was ahead of my time.

I’ve also worked on several other food television shows including Food Network’s The Kitchen, Food Network App, 90 Day Fiance: Foodie Call, and more.

Early in my professional journey in NYC, I began working on cookbook projects in different capacities and fell in love. Currently, I’ve worked on 30 cookbook titles and counting (including some NYT Bestsellers) with all different chefs, celebrities, influencers and brands. I can help with anything from book proposals and writing, to recipe editing and developing, to food styling–books are my jam.

I still pinch myself that my childhood dreams came true - I get to bring all these experiences into my work as a creator, food SEO strategist, and more doing what I love every day!

In the food television industry, I was the Emmy-nominated culinary producer for ABC’s The Chew, as well as The Good Dish.

Hot sauce or chili flakes, whatever it is, I love spice!
